To the Editor:

I would like to thank everyone that came out to vote, especially those who voted for me in the Legislative Council race in District 2. I met a lot of people while campaigning and it would have been an honor to represent you on Legislative Council. I would also like to thank the Newtown Republican Town Committee for having faith in nominating me to run for office.

I will continue to serve the town and community through my appointed boards on Economic Development Commission and C.H. Booth Library Board of Trustees. Both of these boards have given me an opportunity to serve our community I love so deeply.

I would also like to congratulate Dan, Maureen, and Jeff on winning the first selectman and selectmen seats. I look forward to working with you over the next two years.
