Trespassing Incident

Police said they received a report about noon on October 28 that Alexa Larsen, 44, of 123 Lakeview Terrace had entered Newtown Youth Academy at 4 Primrose Street, a facility that she had been banned from entering in June.

Larsen left the academy before police arrived, but police then located her driving a vehicle on Lakeview Terrace. Police said that after stopping the vehicle and investigating, they charged Larsen with first-degree criminal trespassing and with driving an unregistered vehicle.

Police released Larsen on a written promise to appear in court on November 15.

Jewelry Theft

Police report that sometime between 11:45 am and 5:50 pm on November 7, someone burglarized a house on Obtuse Road and stole more than $12,000 worth of jewelry from the premises. Obtuse Road extends from Hawleyville Road, near the Brookfield town line.

Police are investigating the burglary/larceny and ask anyone with knowledge of the incident to contact investigating Officer Joseph Michael at the police station at 203-426-5841, or via e-mail at joseph.michael@newtown-ct.gov.
