Nadine Krause, daughter of Juergen and Louisa Krause, recently began her first year at Mount Holyoke College, the US’s oldest higher education institution for women, in South Hadley, Mass. Ms Krause graduated with high honors from Newtown High School in 2003.

Mark A DeFeo recently accepted membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars this fall at Boston College. The NSCS, founded in 1994, is a highly selective national nonprofit honors organization recognizing second year undergraduate students who excel academically.
