The 11th Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot will be held on Saturday, November 22nd at the Newtown Middle School A Gym. Competing for the highest score in three rounds of shooting baskets, the winning team in each division will go home with a turkey just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. Come and give it a try. Each team will consist of an adult and child. The cost is $10 per team and the proceeds for this event will benefit the Park Gift Fund.

Come see the Radio City 2003 edition of the Christmas Spectacular, starring The Rockettes, on Sunday, December 7. Show time is 5:30 pm. We will travel on a coach bus and have 2nd Mezzanine Seats for this Spectacular Show. The bus will leave the Middle School at 11:30 am, plenty of time before the show to enjoy the sights and have a bite to eat. This show will help you get into the wonderful Christmas Spirit. Registration are being taken here at the Parks and Recreation office, Tickets are $90 per person.

FOUND: a pair of Nautica eyeglasses with case was found at the Newtown Middle School on October 21 after the youth basketball evaluations. To claim, please call the Park and Rec office.
