Women’s Club Says Thanks

To the Editor:

The Newtown Women’s Club, GFWC, Inc, held their annual dessert/card party on October 31 at the Newtown United Methodist Church. All proceeds from this event will be donated to local charitable organizations.

We would like to thank the following members and merchants for their generous donations of door and raffle prizes: Ellen Garrett, Ingrid Meier, Ethan Allen, La-Z-Boy, Woodbury Pewter, Lexington Gardens, Stony Hill Inn, and Newtown Hardware.
