VNA Christmas Boutique Is Nov. 14

The Newtown Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) will hold its annual Christmas Boutique on Wednesday, November 14 from noon to 3 pm and Saturday, November 17 from 9 am to noon in its Thrift Shop located in the lower left corner of the Edmond Town Hall on Main Street.

This year’s array of Christmas gifts for the home, for children, and for adults will include china, Christmas decorations, fur coats and many clothes and household gifts still with original tags from famous department stores. Many are in original packages.

In the past, very special items have included a rare and unusual antique Winnower basket, solid brass furniture, a mink coat, a fox coat, famous make china, oriental rugs and original art paintings and sketches. This year’s items will be just as spectacular, including some authentic Amish photographs, monogram linens, Christmas cards, and decorative wreaths and flowers.

The funds raised by sales at the VNA Thrift Shop are used to support nursing services in Newtown and to provide services for those unable to pay. This season the Newtown VNA has provided three free flu clinics for Newtown residents.
