Summer Program For Gifted Students

PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Students in fourth through eleventh grade can apply to attend a three-week academic, social and recreational summer experience for gifted students.

The program organized by Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG), will be offered on various college campuses – Amherst College, Vassar College, Bryn Mawr College, Denison University, Drew University, and the George School. Instruction is offered in more than 80 academic, art, and recreational courses such as math, theater, sculpture, computer science, and writing.

The deadline to apply is March 15, 2002. Students are encouraged to apply early. Program fees are approximately $3,000 for a three-week academic session. Students must meet certain academic criteria to participate. Call (866) 303-4744 or visit www.giftedstudy.com for more information.
