Russian Pianist In Yamaha Concert
NEW MILFORD â Pianist Margarita Nuller will perform a free piano concert, the third in the Yamaha Salon Concert Series, on November 19 at Connecticut Conservatory of the Performing Arts. Ms Nuller will perform a program including works by Shostakovich, Bach, Beethoven and Debussy.
Seating is limited so reservations are suggested. A reception will follow the concert where there will be an opportunity for the audience to meet the artist. The performance will begin at 2 pm.
A native of St. Petersburg, Russia, Ms Nuller received her bachelors and masters degrees from St Petersburg Conservatory of Music. While in her native country she gave numerous performances as a recitalist, chamber musician and soloist with orchestra throughout Russia.
Since immigrating to the United States in 1990, she has performed extensively in the metropolitan area and New England including recitals at Hofstra University, Merryall Center for the Arts and last April, in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
The Yamaha Salon Concert series occurs on the third Sunday of every month except December and is free to the public. The series is intended to showcase Connecticut Conservatory faculty and students performing on Yamaha pianos provided in collaboration with Fryâs Westport-Fairfield Piano and Organ.
