‘Best Christmas Pageant’ In Trumbull

TRUMBULL — The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, an adaptation of Barbara Robinson’s beloved children’s holiday story, will be presented by Christian Heritage School and The Lighthouse Theatre Project of Trumbull.

The play will be performed at Christian Heritage School, 575 White Plains Road in Trumbull. Shows will be on Friday and Saturday, December 1 and 2, with showtimes of 7:30 pm each evening. Ticket prices are $5 for children and seniors and $7 for adults. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance by calling the theatre box office at 256-8658.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is the story of the Herdmans, the absolutely worst kids in the history of the world. When the Herdmans decide they want to be in their local Christmas pageant, everyone is sure it will be a disaster. But when the curtain finally goes up, a miracle happens and it turns out to be the best pageant ever.

Founded by Trumbull resident Dr Susan Fullerton, The Lighthouse Theatre Project seeks to provide theatrical training and performance opportunities to area students in the form of after-school drama clubs, children’s scene writing workshops, fundraising mystery dinners and other full-scale productions.

Christian Heritage School, founded in 1977, is a private, regional, interdenominational Christian day school located in Trumbull. It is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
