Nellie Mae Simpson, 89, of Newtown, died peacefully in her sleep, at home, November 3. She was born September 10, 1924.

Mrs Simpson was a collector of carousel horses, the family picture taker, and an avid card sender.

Her son William H. Simpson, Jr, and his wife Sarah, of Newtown; daughter-in-law Sally Lou Simpson; granddaughters Jennifer Calta, Mary Simpson, Shannon Dinsmore, and Jamie Randell; and eight great-grandchildren survive Mrs Simpson. Her husband William H. Simpson, Sr, and son Robert H. Simpson predeceased her.

Funeral service will take place at a later date.
