Pleased And Proud To Serve

To the Editor:

I am very pleased and proud to have been chosen as first selectman of Newtown. Thank you Newtown voters for your confidence in me. The campaign has been long and sometimes difficult, but always worth the effort.

Will Rodgers and I are committed to serving the community with honesty, sincerity, and a spirit of collaboration. We welcome Bill Furrier as a partner in this leadership endeavor. I am confident that we, this new Board of Selectmen, will be effective and that we will function well as a team. We welcome the voices and ideas of all Newtowners and will pursue with vigor the actions that best serve the common good.
