Olga E.      Martenson

Olga “Lillian” (Erickson) Martenson, 90, beloved wife of the late Axel K. Martenson, died November 5 at Maefair Healthcare Center.

She is survived by a son, Ronald Martenson, and his wife, Lillian, of Newtown.

Mrs Martenson was born in Bridgeport, and lived most of her life in Fairfield before moving to Trumbull. She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church, Bridgeport, for many years.

She will be remembered as a kind and caring person and devoted homemaker, and will be greatly missed by her surviving family.

She is also survived by a daughter, Lois Wilson, and her husband David of Trumbull; four grandchildren, Deborah Wright and her husband Christopher, Kristine Borucki and her husband Michael, and Erik and Dana Martenson; four great-grandchildren, Thomas and Daniel Wright and James and Steven Borucki; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Herbert, Albert, Henry, and Norman Erickson.

The funeral was held on November 8 at the Salem Lutheran Church, Bridgeport. Burial was in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.

The Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Avenue, Bridgeport was in charge of arrangements.
