St Rose of Lima School has scheduled a Scholastic Book Fair, open Saturday, November 12, and Sunday, November 13, with a special event on Saturday to celebrate the fair.

The theme for this year's fair is "Bookaneer Book Fair, Where Every Book is a Treasure!"

The Saturday special event will run from 9:30 until 11 am in the Monsignor Weiss Gathering Hall, 40 Church Hill Road. It will include character meet and greet with Captain Hook and Ariel, photo opportunities, crafts, and snacks and drinks, according to the school.

The Scholastic Book Fair will reopen Saturday from 4 to 7 pm, and on Sunday, from 8:30 am until 1 pm.

Scholastic will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Kids in Need Foundation, Reader to Reader Inc, and to the National Center for Families Learning. Books purchased will also help support the St Rose of Lima School library, according to an announcement for the event.
