RIDGEFIELD — The November meeting of Newtown Genealogy Club will be held at Ridgefield Recreation Center, 195 Danbury Road (Route 35) in Ridgefield, on Sunday, November 9. The program will begin at 1:30 pm.

This month’s guest speaker will be longtime club member Toni McKeen. Her subject will be “Using FindAGrave.com.” This growing site — which boasts the addition of one million new memorials each month — can aid with your genealogy research. Attendees will learn how to become a member, add memorials and photos, request information, and much more.

Light refreshments will be served prior to the presentation, and the Help Desk will also be open.

All are welcome.

The club will also be hosting a genealogy fair the following Sunday, with representatives from many genealogy and history related groups.
