Running For Service Members

Micaela (Hurly) McMurrough, a former resident of Newtown, will run the ING New York City Marathon this Sunday, November 7, as a member of Hope For The Warriors to raise money for the nonprofit organization that supports wounded US service members, their families, and the families of the fallen.

McMurrough is a New York City resident and a West Point Academy graduate, a former Army Intelligence Officer, graduate of Cornell Law School, and an attorney at a private practice.

She is a 1994 graduate of Newtown High School, where she was a runner, and still has family in town.
