Bad Checks
On November 2, Cosimo Fragomeni, 33, of 3545 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, turned himself over to police after learning that they held a warrant for his arrest.
Police said they charged Fragomeni with two counts of issuing a bad check in connection with checks that he had issued to a local plant nursery last June.
On June 22, Fragomeni issued a check for $2,480, and on June 25, he issued a check for $800, both of which were returned due to insufficient funds to cover the checks, police said.
After processing the arrest, police released Fragomeni on a promise to appear November 5 in Danbury Superior Court to answer the charges.
