Irene K. Forshaw

Irene K. Forshaw, 64, a former Newtown resident, died October 27 in Grove City, Fla., after a long illness.

Mrs Forshaw is survived by two daughters, Donna Perritano of Southbury, and Kelly Forshaw of Rotonda West, Fla.; four sons, Edward of Mountain Home, Penn.; Michael of Lake Ariel, Penn.; Thomas of Punta Gorda, Fla; and Kevin of Southbury; a brother, Thomas Kane of Derby; and five grandchildren.

Her husband, Edward Forshaw, predeceased her.

Mrs Forshaw was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She was also involved in volunteer work at several schools and hospitals.

Memorial services were private.

Donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
