Newtown Interfaith Council is planning A Gathering to Raise Up Peace, Compassion, Kindness and Hope.

The special event is scheduled for Sunday, November 5, at 3 pm, at Sticks and Stones Farm, 197 Huntingtown Road.

This gathering will offer a time for compassionate interfaith sharing and mutual support, prayer, and meditation as council members and attendees seek to offer comfort and hope to one another and the world.

This year’s Interfaith Thanksgiving Gathering is being planned for Thursday, November 16, at 7 pm. The location and other details are still being confirmed.

All are welcome at either event, regardless of faith or spiritual beliefs.
