To the Editor:

A brief note of thanks to all who voted, as well as to all of the candidates who ran for office this past Tuesday. As candidates, whether you were successful in your electoral bid or not, that is secondary to your willingness to put yourself forward and to offer your time and expertise in support of Newtown as a public official. We are blessed to live in a town which has so many who are so willing to serve.

I appreciate the trust voters have placed in me as a candidate for the Board of Assessment Appeals for the coming term.
