To the Editor:

I am honored to have been selected as one of district two’s representatives on the Legislative Council for the next two years. Thank you to all those who took the time to vote.

Newtown is a very special town, and I am so happy to have been able to raise my children here. There are so many things to be proud of they are hard to count. First and foremost the wonderful people I have gotten to know over the years who give so generously of their time and volunteer to serve on a board or a commission.

I am looking forward to continuing the work we are tasked with and welcoming our newest members of the council on December 1st. I am thankful for the work done by our departing members, Bob Merola, Joe Girgasky and Eva Bermudez. They have all served with distinction in their own way.
