Loyalty Sunday will be celebrated at the 10:30 am service on November 12. The special choir anthem is “Be Not Afraid.” Sunday School and Bible classes meet at 9 am. Included on the calendar for the week is a meeting of the Social Ministry Committee after service and a gathering of the stewardship visitors at 1:30 pm. On Monday, the craft workers meet at 7:30 pm. The stewardship and finance group meets on Tuesday at 8 pm. On Wednesday, the King’s Ringers meet at 7:15 pm and the Senior Choir rehearses at 8 pm. Confirmation I and II meet on Thursday at 7 pm. On Friday, the daytime Bible group gathers in the church office at 12:30 pm. On Saturday there will be a medieval dinner in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 5 pm.

The Rev Janice Touloukian, associate minister, will lead the 10 am worship service on Sunday, November 12. Jeffrey Reinhardt will play the oboe accompaniment to the choral number “How Can I Keep From Singing?” by the Senior Choir, under the direction of Mary Andreotta. Philip Crevier will be at the keyboards. Many of the men will be attending the annual men’s retreat at Silver Lake this weekend. Church School will be at 9:45 until 11:15 at the church house at 41-A Main Street. The Youth Choir will meet for rehearsal at 11:20 am in the Memorial Room at the church house.

The Unitarian Universalist Society of Northern Fairfield County has two Sunday Services, at 9 and 11 am. On Sunday, November 12, congregation member Linda Spione will lead services on Spiritual Autobiographies.”What is a spiritual autobiography?  We will  look at the history and progress of this unique and often overlooked form of self-exploration. Drawing from some well-known religious writers and  thinkers, as well as some regular folks who have asked some of the age-old questions of spirituality, faith, and God, we will take a look at their journeys and/or conversions.” Religious Education and childcare for young children are available during both services.
