Goodwick Merges With Liazon

Two Connecticut-based marketing communications agencies, Goodwick Associates and Liazon Marketing, have merged to form a new, larger joint entity: The Leverage Marketing Group, Inc. The new MarCOM group is headquartered in Newtown at their 117-119 South Main Street campus.

“Leverage is a unique and revolutionary model for the modern marketing communications group,” said group co-founder David Goodwick. “In being a nimble, organically grown team that integrates all levels of consumer and business-to-business marketing, the Leverage Marketing Group provides a more efficient and comprehensive approach to all of a client’s marketing challenges, strategic to tactical, from all vertical points, enterprise-wide.”

In today’s increasingly competitive, quick time-to-market environment, this new approach has become a necessary advantage, said Leverage Marketing Group’s other co-founder, Mike Casale, president of Liazon Marketing. “By keeping everything in context of the big picture and preparing in advance to act and not react, Leverage can help a company to realize its potential in a more efficient and profitable way.”

Both Goodwick and Casale contend that in order for businesses to stay competitive, companies must acknowledge the value of and need for an integrated marketing approach. In fact, much of their mission, they say, is to champion this message to help clients reach their business goals in line with their potential. One of the tools the Leverage Marketing Group offers to this end is their Enterprise Potential Analysis, or EPA, which is used to assess a company’s full marketing potential, then design and help implement a vertically integrated, enterprise-wide marketing solution.

In its 15th year as an advertising and marketing communications (MarCOM) agency in northern Fairfield County, Goodwick Associates (www.goodwick.com) provides marketing communications for a variety of high-technology, industrial, and business-to-business clients.

Liazon Marketing (www.LiazonMarketing.com), which recently observed its fifth-year anniversary, has provided award-winning promotions and campaigns for a variety of national accounts, including Sprint, Hewlett-Packard, and Alamo Rent-a-Car. Liazon also supports Connecticut’s_ProduCTeam, which helps promising, state-based start-up companies bring products and services to market.
