I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for Alison Plante’s re-election to the Board of Education in Newtown. Having closely followed the educational landscape in our community for many years, I firmly believe that Alison is the ideal choice to represent our school community’s interests as a champion for the cause of quality education for our children.

Alison is an experienced business professional, municipal office holder, mother, and volunteer. I have personally witnessed Alison navigate through challenging situations with level-headed grace. Alison possesses a refreshingly unique combination of integrity, intelligence, competence, and common sense that is often difficult to find in today’s politically charged world. Alison listens to all sides before forming an opinion and approaches her position on the Board of Education with a strong sense of responsibility. These are all attributes required in anyone serving as a policy maker, curriculum developer, budget overseer, and more for our school system.

In these trying times, our community deserves a candidate who will lead with integrity, intelligence, and a genuine passion for our community. Alison Plante embodies these qualities, and I wholeheartedly endorse her candidacy for the Board of Education. I believe that Alison should be given the opportunity to continue to help guide our schools toward a brighter future, ensuring that our children receive the best possible education.
