Jacqueline Marie Miller
Jacqueline Marie (Hill) Miller, 90, of Brookfield, wife of the late Richard Miller, died October 30 at Hancock Hall in Danbury. She was born in Danbury, March 2, 1925, and was the daughter of the late Myrtle (Montgomery) and Joseph Hill.
She graduated from Danbury High School in 1942, and was married November 18, 1944.
A daughter, Bonnie Miller of Newtown; son, Jeffrey Miller, DVM, and his wife Beth, of Wolcott; granddaughter Gretchen Beardmore, and her husband John; grandsons Nathan, and his wife Michelle, and Ian, and his wife Stephanie; four great-grandchildren; her sisters Arlene Dixon, Julia Holick, Carol Schirmer, and Janice McNamara; and her brothers George, Joseph, John, and Terrance survive Mrs Miller. Her sisters Jeanne Bonner and Myrtle Rahmsdorff; and her brothers Louis, Donald, Harold, Robert, Charles, and Philip predeceased her.
Being with family and friends, gardening, birdwatching, and needlework were things Mrs Miller enjoyed. She worked in data processing at Benrus Corporation and Perkin Elmer until her retirement in 1987.
Funeral services will take place Tuesday, November 3, at 11 am, at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury. The Rev Dr Joseph Krasinski will officiate. Burial will follow immediately in Wooster Cemetery.
