Postponed To Sunday

The office of the Newtown First Selectman has announced that trick-or-treaters are invited to visit Main Street this Sunday, November 4, from 5:30 to 8 pm. Ghosties and ghoulies were discouraged from visiting the area on Halloween, October 31.

Because the staging area for CL&P at Fairfield Hills is greater than anticipated, a Trunk or Treat event Newtown Parks and Recreation had hoped to sponsor near the Newtown Youth Academy, Saturday evening, November 3, will not take place.
