Expanding Into Region

MONROE — HSBC is one of the largest banks in the world, with more than 10,000 offices in more than 80 countries and territories. Currently HSBC has five branches in Fairfield County with five more opening by the end of this year.

HSBC has recently hired the following employees to represent it in its Shelton and Monroe branches. The Shelton branch is at 704 Bridgeport Avenue and the Monroe branch is at 155 Main Street

Jeanette Politano joins HSBC Bank USA as a vice president and branch manager of the Monroe location. She is a ten-year resident of Monroe and she brings 21 years of banking and brokerage experience to HSBC. She formerly held positions with Wachovia Bank (Newtown), Bank of New York, Alliance/Bernstein, Dreyfus Corporation, and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company. Ms Politano holds a BBA from Bernard M. Baruch College, CUNY, and holds a certificate in Financial Planning from New York University.

Marion Conklin is a business specialist and will have an office in both the Shelton and Monroe branches. In this position, she is responsible for working closely with local business owners to ensure that they have the right banking solutions to help them run their businesses more efficiently. Formerly with Webster and Wachovia Banks, Ms Conklin is a Shelton resident who earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois and an MBA in marketing from Sacred Heart University.
