To the Editor:

This year we have two outstanding candidates for Board of Education, Republican Kathy Fetchick and Democrat Anna Wiedemann.  Both candidates attend Board of Education meetings and have a good understanding of what is going on in our schools.  Kathy Fetchick attends Board of Finance meetings to help her understand how school projects fit into the overall finances of the town.  Both candidates are also members of the Ad Hoc Long Range Strategic Planning Committee, an important step since planning for school projects seems to be sorely lacking.

Kathy Fetchick and Anna Wiedemann have done their homework and now it is time to put them to work as members of the Board of Education, helping to make decisions that will affect our schools and our finances for years to come.
