Robert Warren Ferguson, Jr

Robert Warren Ferguson, Jr, 52, of Bethel, died October 29, due to cancer. Mr Ferguson was born in Danbury, April 1, 1955, son of Christine (Mascio) Ferguson and the late Robert W. Ferguson, Sr.

He leaves Cynthia, his wife of 25 years; a son, Sean, also of Bethel; his mother, Christine of Marietta, Ga.; three brothers and their wives, Scott and Toni of Sandy Hook, Richard and Barbara of Waterbury, and Christopher and Roxanne of Marietta, Ga.; his grandmother, Angelina Mascio of Bethel; his aunt and uncle, Althea and Frank Mrocka of Little Falls, N.J.; his uncles, Tony Mascio and Roger Nott of Newtown; and eight nephews and nieces.

Mr Ferguson graduated from Bethel High School and attended several local colleges. An aspiring writer and an avid reader, chess player, and gardener, he worked as a custom carpenter in Connecticut and New York prior to his illness.

A Mass celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, November 3, at 10 am in St Mary Church, Dodgingtown Road, Bethel. Burial will be in St Peter Cemetery, Danbury. There are no calling hours.

The Bethel Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, Mr Ferguson expressed a wish for donations to the Danbury Animal Welfare Society, 147 Grassy Plain Street, Bethel CT 06801 or to the Stony Hill Fire Department, 59 Stony Hill Road, Bethel CT 06801.
