Chamber’s Destination Is ‘Newtown’s Country’

The Newtown Chamber of Commerce will be holding its fourth annual Destination Newtown on November 8, from 4 to 8 pm, at Edmond Town Hall.

This year’s theme is “Discover Newtown’s Country” and is co-sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, Curtis Packaging, Newtown Savings Bank, and Dental Associates.

Destination Newtown is the only business-oriented exposition in town. The public is invited to attend, free of charge, to browse the exposition floor where local business owners will showcase their companies.

The event will once again feature the popular “Taste of Newtown,” where attendees can sample culinary favorites from some of the local restaurants. Restaurants taking part this year include Franco’s Pizza, Cold Stone Creamery, South Main Pizza, Sal e Pepe, and Carminuccio’s.

New this year is a calendar featuring photographs of Newtown’s beautiful countryside and highlights chamber events throughout the year. The calendar can be purchased for $15 at Destination Newtown and can be preordered on the event website, www.destinationnewtown.com.
