WATERBURY – Anyone interested in talking to their animals should be at Teikyo Post University on Friday, November 16, at 7:15 pm – because Nedda Wittels will show you how.

 As a small child, Nedda Wittels felt the emotions of animals empathetically. She often knew what the family pets wanted. Her parents told her she was just pretending, so she stopped telling others what she experienced.

 Although she received her BA from Cornell University and holds Masters degrees from SUNY/New Paltz and New York University, Nedda rejected the position of behavioral psychologists: that animals are a collection of conditioned responses without emotions. She could not deny her own inner truth. In the early 1990’s, Nedda read Animal Talk by Penelope Smith. This propelled her to a new level of consciousness about animals.

 The program will be held in the Eagles Nest, Teikyo Post University’s Leever Student Center, Country Club Road, Waterbury. Admission is $5 in advance or $10 at the door.
