Job Bank Honors Youth

The Job Bank program of Newtown Youth Services has announced that Matt Salvatore has been chosen as “Job Bank Member of the Month” for his outstanding work and positive attitude in the month of October. After receiving an outstanding recommendation from Anne Stein, he has been chosen to receive this honor.

Matt has only been a member of the Job Bank for a month and is already demonstrating qualities of an excellent Job Bank member. Mrs Stein commented, “What a great kid Matthew is! He was prepared with his emergency notebook, asked very appropriate questions, and made good attempts to engage our son in appropriate interactions.”

Matt is one of 135 Newtown youths who are members of the Job Bank. The participants range in age from 13 to 17 years and are experienced in various odd jobs including babysitting, yard work, clerical work, and animal care.
