David M. Reed
David M. Reed, 85, of Westford, Mass., died October 28 at Lowell General Hospital.
He was the brother of Dorothea Gibbons of Sandy Hook.
He was born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. on Dec. 14, 1913, a son of the late William and Anna (Redmond) Reed, but made his home in Westford for the past four years. He previously resided in Hudson, N.H. and for the greater part of life he lived in Bridgeport.
He was married to Margaret R. (Dondero) Reed. Prior to his retirement he was plant manager for the Perkit Folding Box in Hyde Park. In his leisure time he enjoyed golfing and gardening.
Besides his wife and sister, he is survived by a son, David L. Reed of Westford; four grandchildren, Janet Reed-Mogensen of Virginia; Christine Reed-Lynch of Westford, Beth Reed-Pollard of Plum Island, Newbury and Amy Reed of Westford; eight great-grandchildren; and another sister, Euella Jones of Bridgeport.
