Ghosts, Goblins, And Ghouls At Edmond Town Hall
Those who were brave enough to partake in the Paranormal Legends Festival at Edmond Town Hall on Sunday, October 20 were met with authors, investigators, and haunted artifacts all throughout the historic, and supposedly haunted, building.
The event featured Chris McKinnell, grandson of famed paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren and CEO and founder of the Warren Legacy Foundation for Paranormal Research. Also in attendance was Nick Grossman of Ghost Storm Investigations of Connecticut and Massachusetts, who was a co-producer of the event.
Paranormal investigators hosted live investigations in the old jail cell, which now holds the Borough of Newtown’s documents. There were tarot and oracle card readers, and psychic mediums whom patrons could interact with. The haunted artifacts museum that was temporarily set up featured a lot of items. There were a few dolls with sunken eyes, and marionettes that were falling apart. The museum also featured some cultural artifacts from other parts of the world, such as a red skull mask with a black compass painted on the forehead.
Joe Franke, chairman of the board and chief investigations officer for the Warren Legacy Foundation for Paranormal Research, also gave a well-attended presentation on “Ouija Boards and Divination: Doorways to the Demonic.”
East Ghost Hunt, who sponsors and performs investigations at famous haunted locations, also attended the event. The team hosts investigations that outsiders can join in on and be part of the action.
The event was a spooky success.
