Stephane Colbert
Stephane Colbert, 72, of Sandy Hook, died November 1, with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Paris, France, and moved to Connecticut in his youth.
A graduate of Joel Barlow High School, Mr Colbert later moved to Newtown. He was passionate about photography and the proud owner of his local business, Colbert Photography. He will be remembered for his creative and artistic nature and love of beauty, fashion, and technology.
His wife, Patti; her children, John Wolf and wife, Beth, of Woodbury and Cheryl Dreyer and husband, Steve, of Shelton; his daughters and their spouses, Yvette and Scott Newton of Newtown and Aimee and Chris Seman of Fort Meyers, Fla.; sisters and their spouses, Karen and Rick Jellow of Parkland, Fla., and June and Jeff Nielsen of Norwich, Vt.; and grandchildren, Brooke, Lacy, Jack, James, Nick, and Lauren survive Mr Colbert.
A memorial service will take place Wednesday, November 7, from 11 am to 1 pm, at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
