To the Editor:

The Friends of the C.H. Booth Library would like to send out a special, double letter of thanks to our wonderful Newtown community. Both our October events, the Do-It-Yourself Special Book Sale and Fall Donation Day, were spectacular successes! We want to thank everyone who helped — our hard-working volunteers, our generous patrons/donors, the Booth Library for giving us space to run these two events, and The Newtown Bee for publicizing them.

Next up will be our annual Holiday Sale of books and gift items, scheduled for December 7th & 8th in the Library’s Meeting Room. All proceeds from this and our other sales support the collection and programs at the C.H. Booth Library.
