To The Editor:

To anyone reading this letter, be you female, male, or some variation of the genders, I implore you to use your voice to support a woman’s right to determine her own health care by voting for the Harris/Walz team. This is not just a woman’s issue — it’s a matter of freedom which affects families, mothers, daughters, husbands, sons.

No white old Republican man should have a say in determining a woman’s personal health needs and wishes. Those decisions belong to a woman, her doctors, her partner. Everyone is entitled to her/his/their opinions and religious preferences but let’s remember this country was founded on the principle of separation of church and state. We are on the precipice of very dangerous times, and it’s up to everyone who wants our country to remain a democracy to stand up for the most fundamental right — the right to determine our own healthcare.
