Watercolor Program

At SCAN Meeting

Frank Federico of Goshen will demonstrate in watercolor during the next meeting of Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) on Wednesday, November 8, at 7:30 pm. Meetings are open to the public and held at Newtown Meeting House, at 31 Main Street in Newtown (at the flagpole).

Mr Federico is a popular demonstrator for SCAN, especially working in watercolor. He is the recipient of many honors and awards. He was recently elected into the prestigious National Watercolor Society with signature membership. He also won an award in their 1998 Annual Show in California.

Mr Federico has also been honored with Grumbacher gold, silver, and bronze medals, Degas Pastel Society’s Award of Excellence, Best in Show at Kent Art Association’s 1998 fall exhibition, and first in watercolor at the Piedmont Hall Show 1998 in Somers.
