Newtown Teachers Named To Who’s Who

Several Newtown School District teachers have been named by their former students in the sixth edition of Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, 2000.

Approximately 114,000 teachers being honored were selected by their former students who are also listed in Who’s Who Among American High School students or The National Dean’s List, publications which recognize five percent of the nation’s high school and college students.

Local educators honored in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, 2000 include Carol L. Lucas of Newtown High School, Nelson M. Poulter of Newtown Middle School, Theresa Vara-Dannen of St Rose School, John N. Vouros of Newtown Middle School, Lorrie A. Arsenian of Newtown High School, Michael J. Chervansky of Newtown High School, Jay F. Daly of Newtown High School, Ann McNulty Ferraro of Newtown High School, Mary M. Gratt of Newtown High School, and Patricia V. Walsh of Newtown High School.
