Jean Elizabeth Chandler, 74, died October 24, at Glen Hill Nursing Center in Danbury. She was born July 29, 1944, in Philadelphia, Penn., and was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Robin McGhee.

Ms Chandler worked most recently at JoAnn Fabric after working many years at Blockbuster Video, a job she truly enjoyed. She worked for many years at Supplemental Childcare Services, Brookfield. She also enjoyed watching movies, reading, scrapbooking, and crossword puzzles. Anything that had to do with Egypt, Ms Chandler was interested in, but mostly she was a homebody who loved spending time with her granddaughter, Kyra.

She will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law, Michael Gillotti of Newtown; her sons, Robert Scott Chandler of Danbury and Edward Chandler, Jr, and his wife, Laura, of New Milford; and her beloved granddaughter, Kyra Chandler, who survive her.

Her sister, Anne McGhee Gillotti, predeceased her.

A Memorial Service will take place Sunday, November 4, from 2 to 5 pm, at the Moose Lodge, 75 Boulevard Drive, Danbury, where Ms Chandler was a member since 1966. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
