SHOP Halloween Walk Successful
To the Editor:
On behalf of SHOP, I would like to thank all the ghosts and goblins that came out for our 7th Annual Halloween Walk. This event was created seven years ago by Gary Seri of the former Stone River Grill. He can up with this idea because of Storm Alfred and wanted to give the children a safe, fun environment to trick or treat. This year was by far the best turnout yet. So thank you, Gary Seri, for this idea and all the the children that participate in it every year.
Next up is our Tree Lighting Ceremony, Saturday, December 2, from 4 to 6 pm. Don't forget to bring a nonperishable food item to Santa for FAITH Food Pantry.
See you then.
