Support And Generosity

To the Editor:

The Independent Party of Newtown would like to take this opportunity to thank many Newtown residents for their support during this campaign season.

First and foremost, we would like to thank our families for their support and patience during the campaign. You have made sacrifices so that we could meet, plan, and actively participate in the numerous activities to attempt to earn votes on November 3.

Secondly, we would like to thank Tom Allen of Tom Allen Photography for spending countless hours taking photos of our candidates for this election. We appreciate your generosity. Mark and Kevin Kuligowski of Creative Mailing Services also deserve a special thank you for their continued support of IPN. The Kuligowski brothers have coordinated multiple IPN printing orders and helped us prepare and deliver over 8,000 mailers to registered voters.

We would also like to thank The Newtown Bee for generously providing significant amount of ink to allow the candidates to express their point of view and William Hart, our Board of Education candidate, for working tirelessly on our website (www.ipn2009.org).

Lastly, we would like to thank all our supporters for your words of encouragement, putting IPN magnets on your car, using the lawn signs to help with our “get out the vote” message (despite their daily removal in some locations, under mysterious circumstances), writing endorsement letters, emailing our Independent Party Express newsletter to your friends, generous donations to help us to get out the word about IPN, talking us up to your friends and neighbors, and expressing your concerns and ideas, and most importantly for believing in us.

 No matter the outcome, your support and generosity will not be forgotten.
