Proud Of Our Young People
Proud Of Our Young People
To the Editor:
As producer of the Halloween program at the C.H. Booth Library on October 18, I first want to express thanks and gratitude for your paperâs coverage of the event, and, in particular, the outstanding reporting of Kendra Bobowick.
Newtown can be very proud of its young people who participate in the libraryâs Mask & Wig Players group and who also performed the programâs main feature, a play written and directed by one of its own. Newtown can also be thankful for the libraryâs Young Adult Librarian, Margaret Brown, who makes it all possible. Â The ghost story which I told about âBradâ and his dog âLadyâ was written by Robert Luedeman. I told the story, which is titled âI Knew You Would Come Back,â with the permission of the author.
Mr Luedeman, also author of the book Tall Tales and Spoofs, resides in Mooresville, Ind., and writes a humor column for the local newspaper there.
