Nora I. Bingham

Nora I. Bingham, 96, wife of the late James J. Bingham of 34 Mist Hill Road, Brookfield, died October 26 in the New Milford Nursing Home.

She was born in Newtown July 10, 1904, daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Lynch) Keane. A resident of Brookfield since 1990, she had formerly lived in Passaic, N.J. For many years she was employed as a bank teller in Passaic.

She is survived by five grandchildren, James Bingham of Bedford, N.H., Jerry Bingham of Wingdale, N.Y., Jeff Bingham of Brookfield, and Linda Arnold of Torrington; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held November 1 at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Interment was in St Rose Cemetery.
