To the Editor:

I would like to share my thoughts and endorsement for Ryan Knapp as he runs for reelection as legislative representative for district 2.

I met Ryan five years ago and was immediately struck by his character, confidence, and willingness to engage in conversation.

Since our first meeting, I have come to know Ryan as a dedicated council member committed to the best interests of Newtown and its citizens, with fresh ideas and solid leadership.

I have worked side-by-side with Ryan on many local environmental projects and can say he is a tireless worker always willing to help.

As a resident of Newtown for over 25 years, I hope Ryan and others like him will be reelected to continue the great work they do.
