Wildlife Holiday Gift Workshop

Several activities are scheduled at the Sessions Woods Conservation Center in Burlington for families who are thinking ahead about holiday giving.

On Saturday, November 6, from 1 to 3 pm, there will be a Holiday Gift Workshop during which participants may build a birdhouse or make a bird feeder. There will also be two minipresentations about feeding birds at 1:30 pm and again at 2:30 pm. The Sessions Woods Bookstore will be open for purchase of outdoors and wildlife related books.

The Sessions Woods Conservation Education Center’s Public Program Series is a cooperative venture between the CT DEP Wildlife Division and the Friends of Sessions Woods. It is located at 341 Milford Street (Route 69). Preregister for these programs by calling 860-675-8130 (Monday–Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm), Programs are free unless noted. An adult must accompany children under 12 years old.
