Giorno Memorial 3-On-3 November 13

The annual John Giorno Memorial 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament will be held Saturday, November 13, at Newtown High School. The tournament is held to benefit the family of John Giorno, who succumbed to cancer in 2002, and all proceeds will go to the Giorno College Fund.

Boys and girls divisions in ages 8 to 11 will begin at 9 am; boys and girls ages 12-13 will begin at 12 noon; boys and girls ages 14-15 will begin at 3 pm; boys and girls ages 16-19 will begin at 5 pm; and 20+ and 30+ divisions will begin at 7 pm. The format will be double elimination, so every team plays at least two games.
