To the Editor:

William DeRosa knows Newtown. He is an active participant in the matters that are most important to our community. Excellence in our schools, diligence toward our budget, and maintenance of the roads and parks that make up our community are amongst those issues that command his attention.

I would venture that many of us share his concerns, but working to achieve our goals in these areas takes a special type of person.

William DeRosa is one of those people. He has the depth of experience to work with all members of our community. He has, and will continue to, engage with others with the purpose to uphold and preserve the character and setting that draws people to Newtown. William DeRosa has shown that he shares my love for Newtown and for that, he has earned my respect and my vote in the upcoming election for First District councilman.
