Wheels/Citgo At 151 South Main Street Going On Hiatus

According to Tom Wiehl, vice president of administrations for Consumers Petroleum/Wheels, the Wheels/Citgo station at 151 South Main Street will be closing as of 11 pm, Thursday, October 31, for the complete “raze and replace” of the facility and property. It is hoped that the gas station/convenience store will reopen for business in the spring of 2020.
The Wheels/Citgo stations at 67 Church Hill Road and 47 Church Hill Road are not affected by this development project and remain open.
CPCI LLC of Milford is proposing that the existing Citgo Friendly gas station/convenience store at 147-151 South Main Street be razed and replaced with a modern gas station/convenience store such as depicted in this elevation drawing by Bennett Suillvan Architects Inc.
