To the Editor:

I am writing to express my support of Neil Chaudhary for the position as Police Commissioner in Newtown. I have known Neil and his family for the past ten years. Neil and Jennifer have always been active members of our community. They have been volunteering in every capacity throughout town in an effort to make Newtown a better community for our families. Neil cares tremendously about our town. He has worked tirelessly to show his dedication to our community on the local, state, and national levels. Neil is regarded as an expert in the transportation and safety field and has experience cooperating with local government agencies such as the DOT and DMV. Neil’s broad experience and history of giving back to the community would make him an ideal candidate to be a member of the Police Commission, since the Police Commission oversees the Newtown Police Department and the general safety of our town. As a 25-year law enforcement officer myself, I understand the importance of this position. I strongly support Neil Chaudhary in his pursuit to become a Police Commissioner, and I encourage the rest of our community to do the same.
