To the Editor:

I am writing to endorse Judit DeStefano for reelection to Newtown’s Legislative Council in District 1. I’ve known Judit for well more than a decade. I first met Judit when she was a teacher. It takes a special person to be able to create a positive learning environment for children while also helping them rise to the ever-increasing academic challenges in today’s world. It is clear that she values each child’s individual potential.

I also know Judit as a good friend. She is an active citizen who understands the nuances involved in local government in Newtown. She brings poise and a balanced perspective to the Legislative Council. Newtown is fortunate to have trusted, experienced leaders like Judit DeStefano. Please cast your vote for her on November 5.
